Volunteer Homeowners Needed for Water Quality Sampling
Our water system is seeking volunteer households to participate in required lead and copper monitoring.
To qualify, your home must:
• Have been built before 1989
• Not have a water softener installed
Participating customers will receive a sample bottle and simple instructions for collecting a water sample twice a year. The process takes only a few minutes and helps us meet regulatory requirements while monitoring the quality of drinking water throughout our community.
There is no cost to participate, and sample results will be available to participating customers.

Illinois EPA has instructed us to have on file the water pipe material you have coming through your foundation into your house. This could be PVC, copper, black iron, galvanized steel, etc. We need visual proof of this material through a picture. This can be emailed to office@millcreekwaterdistrict.com or printed and mailed or dropped off to our office. Thank you!
