Subject: BOIL ORDER
Due to Main Repair, a pause in service will take effect at 10:00 AM, when service is restored a boil order has been issued for the following area:
1) 1232 – 2011 Rim Rd
2) 7200 Woodland Hill Circle
3) 7229 Woodland Hill Circle
4) 7230 Woodland Hill Circle
Customers in this area who are NOW experiencing a service outage should boil water at least FIVE minutes before using.
The BOIL ORDER will remain in effect until laboratory sampling confirms that water quality has been fully restored. This will be October 30th, at the earliest. You will receive notification at that time.

Volunteer Homeowners Needed for Water Quality Sampling
Our water system is seeking volunteer households to participate in required lead and copper monitoring.
To qualify, your home must:
• Have been built before 1989
• Do Not have a water softener installed
Participating customers will receive a sample bottle and simple instructions for collecting a water sample twice a year. The process takes only a few minutes and helps us meet regulatory requirements while monitoring the quality of drinking water throughout our community.
When sample is received by MCWD the facility fee for that month will be credited to your account as an appriciation of your cooperation, and sample results will be available to participating customers.

Illinois EPA has instructed us to have on file the water pipe material you have coming through your foundation into your house. This could be PVC, copper, black iron, galvanized steel, etc. We need visual proof of this material through a picture. This can be emailed to office@millcreekwaterdistrict.com or printed and mailed or dropped off to our office. Thank you!
